Also, please keep the discussion civil. Raptors are my third favorite mount, just below the Onyxian Drake. No, I would not recommend this to a friend Not sure why some people have negative thoughts on the changes in the updated physical Collectors Edition content. Even if it showed up a day late or early it's not that big of a deal. You make a really good point here actually.
They try to ease players into things before they fully commit because they know the backlash at quick change is severe. Thing is, forcibly taking master looting away from Raiders would understandable piss of a lot of people. I have always loved how well Blizzard packages their collector editions they are masterfully done with art' embossing debossing and pizazz. Read earlier in some BfA faq on the official BfA site that they only refund BfA if the allied races hasn't been unlocked. This way players who get the most premium version of the game can receive the pre-purchase bonus, play at midnight launch, and wouldn't have to wait the following day to pick up their copy at the store or for the delivery to arrive at home to begin playing the expansion. Without an art book, physical soundtrack, or mouse pad, what's the point? Then the next day I received a third email from a actual person saying because I used the 110 boost I can't get the refund and if I didn't I would have. A huge paperweight, a lack luster art book, and a pretty envelope with a code to retrieve a digital soundtrack.
And they've talked before about their concerns about loot funneling in high level Mythic Raiding. Thanks for telling me how to use my money when I said that it was unforeseen circumstances. I don't really play horde, so the raptor is kind of lost on me, but I'll boost a horde guardian druid up since that's a joke to play and get into easily. It feels like all in all they added 10 classes. But it's still really nice. No way will I waste my money on this sorry excuse of a collector's edition package. Blizzard's solution was to have players who pre-ordered the Collector's Edition of the game to pre-purchase the standard copy of the expansion and give a refund in the form of Battle.
I do want to remind you though - you missed out on precisely nothing if you didn't grab the digital version of Legion. Both are available for preview by clicking right They will indeed eventually be posted online, so if you're dying to know the story but don't want the collectors edition or can't get it, you'll still be able to read them. With more and more emphasis on early access through pre-ordering, Blizzard really needs to stop punishing the fans of their games. It really feels like they should have a better solution in place. Read earlier in some BfA faq on the official BfA site that they only refund BfA if the allied races hasn't been unlocked. And, not including a dedicated art book.
But the art is in two novellas! This way they don't have to worry about players giving away the code that actually comes in the box. Anyone going to get collectors edition? The point of getting the physical Collector's Edition, is to get the physical items. Overall the physical stuff are really cool and of high quality. I shouldn't have to buy the expansion twice just to gain access to early release content. Morgl could potentially be a Murky skin, and Magni is already a Muradin skin interesting tidbit, when he uses avatar with that skin, he turns into the diamond version of him instead of the standard transformation.
I would recommend this to a friend Since the beginning, I have purchased every since Collector's Edition of WoW. I ordered several copies because some of you negative nellys are going to wish you had this once they're gone, and I'll see you on the auction sites. I'm not whining or kicking up a fuss either way, just putting this out as a heads up for anyone who hasn't seen the policy yet. Not sure how they got a hold of a copy before launch but it would be nice if we were all able to get it as well. I like horse mounts, and my favorite mount of all time has always been Baron Rivendare's Deathcharger first mount I ever farmed, too. Comment by GeneralDaz on 2018-01-24T19:01:58-06:00 I really loved seeing the tall dinosaur in the preview cinematic! If you add a physical key to your digital key you can ask them to add the same value as the digital key and convert it to Game Time.
Clearly there is a difference between pre-ordering and pre-purchasing since pre-ordering means that it's not fully paid for yet and that players who pre-ordered can simply cancel their orders. Check with your local retailer for details. There was no need to necro the thread mate. Retailers don't communicate directly to developers. Needless to say, this is definitely not worth the asking price, and clearly a representation about how they feel about this expansion.
Written by Christie Golden and Robert Brooks. Comment by dartworth on 2018-04-05T08:50:35-05:00 This is rather disappointing, as a Blizzard Collector's Edition collector. I would recommend this to a friend This is the latest expansion to the WoW series. And, not including a dedicated art book. Its something tangible that I can go to when friends ask about the games I play. Place it somewhere prominent, with your chosen faction proudly facing out into the world for all to see. Yea as I thought they have no plans regarding this for BfA yet.
The digital soundtrack is ok but I've only listened to it once just like all the ones that came before. Comment by Kanetsidohi on 2018-01-24T19:36:04-06:00 Please don't be a flying horse, please don't be a flying horse, please don't be a flying horse, please don't be a flying horse. Raptors are my third favorite mount, just below the Onyxian Drake. The digital soundtrack is a nice perk if you don't have access to Spotify or Apple Music otherwise it's available there. On another, why did they wait? It's likely it'll be the same as Legion, but there's no confirmation yet.
Shame all of my raptor mounts look ugly other than the fossil one though. Image is from the Collectors Edition :scream: The collectors edition this go around has something super special! If they haven't seen the policy then it's their own fault for not reading the pre purchase page which again states it quite clearly. The main reason I purchased the collector's edition was to get this original book. I would recommend this to a friend I haven't touched WoW really since Wrath of the Lich King so I wasn't sure what I was getting back into. If adding 4 additional bag slots to the game broke things for a week, then I can't imagine how much they'd tear the game apart just to remove 2 achievements and a boosted character lol. Last year, players who pre-ordered the Colector's Edition of Legion were not able to play Demon Hunters as early as the players who pre-purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition and Regular Edition. I attempted to refund today as I found myself a bit short on cash due to unforeseen circumstances intending to repurchase it again next month , and was told that as I had used my boost and had unlocked the allied races I would therefore not be able to receive a refund.
