While I don't necessarily condone familieswatching kid's films for their own sake and this one in particular isall over the map as far as messaging , there's not really all that muchto object about here. Actually, here's a hint: sit down and enjoy these scenes while the people in the rows in front of you try to exit the theatre; the point of reference they offer will enhance the 3D in such a cool way that it will seem that they will bump into the staircase and the minions protruding from the screen I suppose that was the intention of these bonus scenes, and boy they nailed it! I was worried that all the good bits were in the adverts but the film was full of exciting and hilarious parts that aren't in the advert. Despicable Me 3 catches Gru Carell and newly minted wife Lucy Wiig trying and failing to securethe world's largest diamond from the hands of Bratt our flamboyant 80'sthemed villain. I instantly loved thevillain, the man wearing shoulder pants! DespicableMe 3 I hardly laughed at all, and can't see myself watching it againanytime soon. I was worried that all the good bits were in the adverts but the film was full of exciting and hilarious parts that aren't in the advert. In fact, I enjoyed it so much I am taking my little brother to see it again mainly so I can see it again! The whole plan is to steal the moon, for crying out loud! One highlight involves Gru and Dru driving aroundthe Freedonian countryside in a golden-plated mean machine while policefollow while riding literal pigs. In all honesty I can't remember the first film that well, so I found it hard to compare to the sequel. . The animation, also having the advantage of staying true to the style and look that the first had, is bursting with vibrancy and colour without looking too over-saturated as well as having a lot of detail to it.
